Our Story

Originally, the company was called AJO, for the first initials of Ariel Zeïtoun's three children.

In 1993, the three of them were joined by their brother Zacharie. AJO became AJOZ...and so it shall remain.

Ajoz, initially, was to be the distributor of films produced by Ariel Zeïtoun under the banner of Partner's Production, the production company he founded in 1979.

Although this was the case at the start, fairly quickly the particular demands of distribution began to distract too much from production. Ariel Zeïtoun thus decided to merge the two entities under the single name AJOZ FILMS.
